AWAKENING THE JEWISH SOUL - ONE DAY AT A TIME

Messianic "Jews" speak for themselves

As Orthodox Jews...why would we give Messianic "Jews" a voice? Since they have no influence among Torah Jews...wouldn't it better to ignore them?

Many Messianic "Jews" rather than purposing to be deceptive, are earnestly attempting to synthesize their Christian beliefs with their internal Jewish identity. Many of these people, especially those who are second-generation Messianics, may not even realize that they are not practicing a true form of Judaism. The shame of it... is that they themselves have been deceived. What Messianic "Jews" believe, no matter how Jewish it may look on the outside, is truly Christianity in essence.

So the reason why we chose to post some of the teachings of these so called Messianic "Jews" is because all Jews need to understand that when it comes to the details - most of their beliefs are completely foreign to Torah Judaism. Right down the line, we can look at each of the doctrines they hold and see they are Christian. Thus it is our belief that a fair and unbiased study of both faiths must conclude that Torah Judaism and Messianic "Judaism" are two completely different and distinct faith systems. Since Messianic "Judaism" as well as any other form of Christianity... is incompatible with the Torah, it must be rejected by all Jews.

We have chosen not to address the misinformation presented by these Messianic teachers on the same page. The Torah perspective on the verses and concepts addressed in these videos ... can be found throughout the various pages and posts on our blog in a more comprehensive way. If you have any questions that have not been satisfactorily addressed...please email us at; FactOrFictionQuestions@gmail.com and we will provide you with the answer you need.

Is the claim of the Christian Bible; “There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood”… found in the Torah? In response to the unanimous Jewish position on Sin and Atonement ...the Messianic teacher Dr. Michael Brown attempts to overcome our opposition... by attempting to prove that the Torah in fact teaches this Christian idea! Does He succeed?
Dr. Michael L. Brown is founder and president of ICN Ministries, which is devoted to taking the message of repentance and revival to Israel, the Church, and the Nations. As a Jewish believer in Jesus, Dr. Brown is active in Jewish evangelism, debating rabbis on radio, TV, and college campuses, as well as teaching the Church about god's eternal purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. He is also a published Old Testament and Semitic scholar, holding a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity.
